  • Objective:
    • The object of the game is to form piles of four cards, one per suit, in ascending order (starting with Ace and ending with King). They are called foundation piles.
  • Setup:
    • To set up the game, first place 1 card face up and 6 cards face down to the right. Then place one card face-up on top of the first face-down card (but slightly lowered), then place one face-down card on top of the other five cards. Continue doing this so that each pile has one face-up card and the left pile has one card, followed by two, then three, four, five, six, and finally seven. These piles of cards will become your tableau columns when you play card games.
  • Playing the game:
    • Look at the cards face-up on the table. If there are any aces, place them on top of the seven piles to start your foundation piles. If there are no Aces, rearrange the cards you have by simply moving the cards face up. When you put the card on top (slightly down so you can still see both cards), it should be a different color and value, one less than the card you are putting on top. Thus, if you have six hearts, you can place either the five spades or the five clubs on top. Stack the cards on top of each other until you can’t move anymore. Each pile should change color and move in descending order.
  • Top Card Visibility:
    • The card at the top of every seven tableau columns should be facing up. If you move a card, remember to turn the card face down.
  • Foundation pile:
    • If you have an ace on top of your cards (eventually you should have all four aces), you can move the place cards of the corresponding suit onto the pile in ascending order (A 2, 3). 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 J Q K) sequence
